4th annual (2015) rating of Russian Universities by «Expert RA Rating Agency»

The RFTA has significantly improved its position in the ranking of Top - 100 universities in Russia in 2015

"Expert RA" rating agency has made the fourth annual ranking of Top - 100 universities in Russia. Presentation of the results of the research was held at the 3^rd International Forum of Universities "Global Competitiveness" on June 4, 2015 in Moscow. According to the rating the RFTA has demonstrated the growth dynamics compared with the previous year, having risen 11 points and ranked 35th in the consolidated ranking table of 130+ universities of Russia.

The rating was made on the basis of the analysis of the integrated factors as follows:
- education facilities and conditions ,
- demand for graduates by employers,
- research activity.

The purpose of the university ranking is to assess the capability of the universities to provide for high quality skills and knowledge, the facilities and conditions for their acquisition and the results of application thereof. Evaluation of universities by "Expert RA" is based on the analysis of statistics and survey of the target groups as follows: employers, members of the academic and scientific community, students and alumni. In 2015 more than 17.4 thous. of respondents participated in the survey. The sources of statistical information were: surveys at universities, scientometrical indicators and data from open sources. The participants of the rating are: universities, (except for the universities preparing professionals in sports and arts), as well as colleges of law enforcement agencies.

The RFTA thanks for support businesses and organizations employing our graduates, faculty, alumni and students of the Academy, who took part in the online survey organized by "Expert RA" rating agency. We would like to make a pointed reference to participation in the survey of trade representations of the Russian Federation abroad.

Overall rating function of the Academy has increased by 19 percent.
