«Expert RA» rating agency (RAEX) published its latest rating of the reputation of the Russian institutions for higher education as per areas of activity. Having improved its position by two points as compared with the previous year, the RFTA is ranked the eighth among 50 best universities implementing educational programs in the area of "Economics and Management".

Among the top ten schools of the rating are seven Moscow universities and three regional institutions for higher education.

Evaluation of universities was made on the basis of surveys of employers, representatives of the academic and scientific community, students and alumni, conducted by “Expert RA” (RAEX) in 2012-2015. They took into account the respondents’ opinion on the quality of teaching at the university, demand for the graduates in the labor market, research activities at the university. The total number of respondents exceeded 34,000 people.

In addition to the existing areas of ranking ("Economics and Management", "Engineering, Natural Sciences and Exact Sciences"), in 2015 "Expert RA" for the first time published a list of the universities demonstrating the best results in the areas as follows: "Mathematics and Natural Science", "Information Technology", "Technical Sciences, Engineering and Technology", "Humanities and Social Sciences" and "Medicine".
