On December 21, 2019, another class session  was held on the topic: “Litigation (moot court hearing).” Very often people have to go to the court to defend their rights. As a part of the lesson, the participants organized teams, which took part in the moot court sessions. The role of judges was performed by  professional acting lawyers. During the session, the participants not only learned about the main stages of the trial, about how to behave and what to tell to sell their view convincingly to the judge, but also got the opportunity to put into practice knowledge and skills gained at the “School of Legal Knowledge” held within the framework of “UNIVERSITY SABBATH" PROJECT at the RFTA.

On November 20, 2019, another annual Intellectual marathon in Psychology was held for the first-year students of the Department of International Economists.

From November 25 to 29, 2019, 3rd year students of the Foreign Trade Management, International Finance  and International Economists’ Department  of the RFTA of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia took part in a short-term internship at the University of Heilbronn

On December 7, 2019, the RFTA conducted a regular class on the topic : “Proving  and evidence”. Winning a litigation is largely dependent on the evidence presented by the parties. During  the lesson the students learned what can serve as evidence, about extraction of evidence, consolidation and presentation of evidence, about  regulations in which the list of evidence is fixed and about the peculiarity of proving in criminal and civil proceedings. The lesson was held by A.Vologdin (Ph.D.), head of the department of Theory and History of State and Law.

On December 1, 2019 at 12.45, the RFTA conducted a regular class on the topic: “How to write a claim?”. During the class session  the students learned how to write a claim, and  the legal  requirements to the structure and content of this document. The lesson was held by A. Aleksenko (Ph.D.), Senior Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law

On November 30, 2019 at 10.30 the RFTA conducted a regular class on the topic “Legal argumentation: polemics and speech. The class session was devoted to the art of public speaking and correct argumentation of the position in the dispute. Participants had the opportunity to learn how to overcome nerves when speaking in public, how to make people not just hear but listen to you,  and how to prevent turning dispute into a skirmish, and come to a solution to the problem. The class was held by G.Patulin, Senior Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law

On November 21, the annual Intellectual marathon in Psychology for the students of  International Economists Department -1 was held within the framework of  the student’s scientific circle of the Academic Department of Foreign Trade Transaction Technology of the RFTA.

From November 1 to November 4, students of the RFTA, MGIMO University, All Russian State University of Justice, Bashkir and Voronezh State Universities took part in the International Commercial Arbitration School-Workshop. The following  students were named the best students of study groups: Kirill Tyurin (4-International Law Faculty), Elizaveta Solodovnik (2 International Law Faculty), Nadia Gitinova (3 International Law Faculty), Ella Samsonova (3 International Law Faculty).

On November 23, 2019 at 10.30 the RFTA conducted a regular class on the topic: “Family and Law”. During the session they discussed the rights and obligations of minors and adults, as well as those  of minor parents. During  the class they also addressed the issue of marriable age and the marriage procedure  before the age of 18. The class was held by Yu.Ogneva,  Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Dean of the International Law Faculty

On November 16, 2019 the RFTA hosted  another  session on the topic: The Criminal Responsibility of Juveniles. The participants learned about the difference between criminal responsibility and administrative liability, age of criminal and administrative discretion and the grounds for criminal and administrative liability as well as about  the criminal proceedings and the rights of minors in the framework of pre-trial and judicial proceedings.

On November 9, 2019 another session took place. The topic of the discussion was: “How to make an employment contract. The rights of minors in employment ” and “Administrative responsibility of minors”.

On November 2, 2019, another session of the School of Legal Knowledge took place. The topics of the discussion were :"Property rights of minors" and "Minors and the civil contract"

On October 26, 2019, the RFTA hosted another session of the School of Legal Knowledge. The participants discussed the topics as follows: ‘Youth Entrepreneurship’, ‘How to start a business in Moscow’ and ‘Legal entities as subjects of law’.

On October 19, 2019, the RFTA hosted another session on the topic: “Human rights in Russia and protection thereof”. Within the framework of the class , the students were informed about various ways of protecting human rights and fundamental freedoms at national and international levels; they also learned about the status of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation.

On October 12, 2019, the RFTA hosted another session of the School of Legal Knowledge The participants discussed the topics as follows: Minors as members of the public. Rights and duties of minors. Legal capability of minors

On October 5, 2019 at 12.00, another session of the School of Legal Knowledge was held. The participants discussed the following topics: “The Judicial System of the Russian Federation” and “The History of the Russian Judicial System: Judicial Reform in 1864

On September 28, 2019 at 10-30 the RFTA hosted another session of the School of Legal Knowledge. The participants discussed the topics as follows: “The Legal System of the Russian Federation”. The discussion was devoted to the specificity of the Russian legal system, which makes it different from the legal systems of other countries of the modern world.

The purpose of the session was to perform comparative legal analysis of various forms of present day states: their administrative structure, forms of government and political regimes. During the lesson, the students got acquainted with the concept of “form of state rule”, learned about the most characteristic forms of modern states and their development trends, during the practical assignment in mini-groups, students conducted a comparative legal analysis of various elements of the forms of modern states.
