On May 16, 2024, a delegation of Beijing Union University (Beijing, China), headed by its Rector, Mr. Lei Xingshan, visitedRFTA of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

Since 2016, the Academy has been fruitfully cooperating with Beijing Union University, one of the best universities in Beijing, successfully implementing Double Degree and Academic Exchange programs.

During the visit, Mr. Lei Xingshan and the representatives of BUU got acquainted with the Academy, met with second year students of International Economists’ Department. The students, potential participants of the academic mobility programs, learned a lot of interesting facts about the partner university and the peculiarities of studying in China.

After that there was an official meeting between the BUU delegation and RFTA’s authorities and faculty members, headed by Acting Rector, Vittoria Viktorovna Idrisova. Mr. Lei Xingshan noted the high level of training and good academic performance of RFTA’s students of the profile "International Cooperation with China" and expressed his willingness to continue cooperation between the universities.

At the end of the meeting the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
