Forbes has presented 5th ranking of the 100 best universities in Russia in 2022. RFTA of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia has improved its position in the ranking compared to last year and took 39th place among the 100 best universities in the country.

The assessment was carried out with consideration of five parameters: the demand for graduates, the quality of networking (creation and development of a network of useful acquaintances), the quality of teaching, international reputation, the Forbes factor (how many graduates were on the Forbes lists).

The long list contained 635 universities. All the participants on the list met three mandatory conditions: the availability of Russian accreditation and, as a result, the ability to issue state diplomas, the number of students exceeding 100 people and the availability of undergraduate or specialist programs. Religious and military universities, as well as educational institutions that offer only postgraduate programs were not included in the list.

When calculating the ranking, they used the data from the Monitoring of the activities of educational institutions of higher education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the results of a survey of 100 best employers in Russia and the data from the open sources.
