During the period of November 28 - December 2, 2022, a delegation of the RFTA of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, headed by Sergei Sinelnikov-Murylev, the Rector, visited the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and held a number of meetings with the representatives of the universities in this country to establish cooperation.

Within the framework of the official visit, they held a meeting with Nguyen HuuDo, Deputy Minister of Education and Training of Vietnam, who emphasized the importance of implementing training programs for civil servants and academic mobility programs between countries, and stressed the importance of cooperation between the universities of the two countries in training of post graduate students.

The delegation of the RFTA of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia met Gennady Bezdetko, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and shared plans for cooperation with the country's universities.

In Hanoi, representatives of the Russian delegation met with Bui Anh Tuan, the rector of the University of Foreign Trade of Vietnam, with Pham BaoSon, the Vice-Rector of Hanoi State University and Nguyen Dang Qué, the Deputy Director of the National Academy of Public Administration.

“Universities are ready to start student exchange programs and short internships. The students and teachers of the Vietnam Foreign Trade University are interested in taking part in M. Rozenberg 10^th International Student Competition on International Commercial Arbitration”, - said Sergei Sinelnikov-Murylev, rector of the Russian Foreign Trade Academy, about the results of the negotiations.


Negotiations were held in Ho Chi Minh City with Dinh Cong Khai, Vice-Rector of Ho Chi Minh University of Economics, Nguyen Minh Tam, Vice-Rector of Ho Chi Minh State University and Chan Hong Hai, ActingRector of Ho Chi Minh University of Law.

The Vietnamese party showed particular interest in the possibility of holding short internships, educational and research projects, joint conferences, as well as in bilateral exchange of students and faculty.
