On January 15, 2020, a regular meeting of the Council of Rectors / Presidents / General Directors of the Russian-French University (RFU) took place in Moscow. It was held as a part of 'Gaidar Forum 2020'. During the meeting Sergey Sinelnikov-Murylev, the rector of the Russian Foreign Trade Academy of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, was elected the President of the Russian-French University.
