Two teams of students from the Faculty of International Law (FIL), RFTA took part in the VIII International Student Mediation and Negotiation Competition "Mediation without Borders", which took place on March 16-24, 2024 in a remote (online) format. The competition is organized annually by the Educational and Practical Institution "Center for Mediation and Negotiations" and the Association of Business Mediators "Business Partners" (Minsk, Belarus).
The teams included the following FIL students:
Team 1 – Kabasakalova Maria Sergeevna and Kashirina Polina Andreevna, 3rd year students of the Faculty of International Law –
1st place.
Team 2 – Berezovskaya Sofya Yuryevna and TimofeevaDaria Sergeevna, 3rd year students of the Faculty of International Law –
3rd place.
Team coach: KharitonovaNatalya Aleksandrovna, graduate student of the Faculty of International Law.
The international student Russian-language competition “Mediation without Borders” is an innovative form of educational competition held in the form of a business game, within which student teams have the opportunity to resolve specific conflicts through mediation and acquire negotiation skills in challenging situations, which today are becoming key competencies of the new generation lawyers.
