Colombia Days in Russian Foreign Trade Academy, February 14, 2023 – February 16, 2023

From February 14 to February 16, 2023, the RFTA of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia was holding the international event ‘Colombia Days’.

On February 14, 2023 Mr. Hector Isidro Arenas Neira, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Colombia to the Russian Federation, together with the heads of the Academy, opened ‘Colombia Days’ in the RFTA.

The delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Colombia, Juan Camilo González Ladino, Director of the Representative Office of PROCOLOMBIA (overseas institution of the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Colombia) and Oscar Pachon Torres, Consul and Cultural Affairs Officer, discussed with the heads of the RFTA the prospects of cooperation in the field of education and culture, including organization of practical trainings and internships of RFTA students at the Embassy and at PROCOLOMBIA representative office.

Héctor Isidro Arenas Neira, the Ambassador, delivered a presentation on the history and culture of the Republic of Colombia in Spanish.

Mr. Juan Camilo Gonzalez Ladino, Director of the PROCOLOMBIA Representative Office, gave a lecture in Spanish for students and teachers on the topic: ‘Peculiarities of the development of international cooperation and business between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Colombia.’
