On November 3-4, 2016, the RFTA volunteers took part in the ‘Community’ forum. Volunteers of the RFTA worked at the forum on November 3 and 4 in different areas: some of them helped the guests on the site, some other worked with non-mobile groups of people, there were students who met VIP guests, experts and actors, others worked in interactive zones. All students got letters of gratitude from the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and unforgettable emotions!

Alexandra Toroptseva, a 1st year student of International Finance Department decided to share her feelings with us: "A person's mission is to do good" – these are the words that formed the basis of the ‘Community’ forum that took place on November 3 and 4. It is the first time I participated in this forum as a volunteer. To take part in volunteering we had to pass a selection, then we were trained at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation: we listened to interesting lectures and joined teams depending on our tasks. I was a part of so-called ‘help-team’.

My team consisted of 11 members and our great supervisor. The main task of our group was to provide support to other groups, so I had a chance to work at the forum in different areas: registration, work at stands, navigation, work on the sites. Doing this or that work, I have got experience, which will undoubtedly be useful in the future, moreover, I got acquainted with a lot of volunteers and speakers. You can’t even imagine how many people are ready to help, just because they like it!

There were many speakers, who have their own charity foundations, they came to the forum to share their experience. The atmosphere was incredible! But the most important was an Opening Ceremony, where Vladimir Putin himself spoke before us. At this moment I was standing right in front of the stage, making sure that people did not come close. I was overwhelmed with emotions, because the President was just in front of me!

At the end of the day, all the volunteers gathered together, discussed the results of the day, said good-buy to the late visitors, and then we sang songs to the guitar, played round dances, - we had great fun, and then weary in body but feeling refreshment of mind, we went home. These were two days of unforgettable impressions, great experience and, besides, I met many, many new friends, whom I hope to see at other forums or in everyday life !!!
I will undoubtedly take part as a volunteer in other forums !! "
