On March 11, 2017, the HSE hosted the National Round of Telders International Law Moot Court Competition.

The judges of the final round of the contest in Russia were: Hugh McNeely, Terry Thomson, Maria Gavrilova, Nikolay Gryzunov, Evgenia Neverova and Svetlana Oganezova. The results of the competition are as follows: the HSE team took the first place, the RFTA team took the second place. The Academy was represented by the 3rd year students of the International Law Department: Alexandra Gerasimova, Anastasia Kazakova, Alina Lukashevich and Elena Sharnova.
