On April 17, 2024, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Dominican Republic to the Russian Federation gave a lecture in Spanish at RFTA of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

On April 17, 2024, RFTA of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation welcomed the representatives of the Embassy of the Dominican Republic: Alejandro Arias Zarzuela, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Dominican Republic to the Russian Federation, Lalia Gonzalez, Minister Counselor, Luis Fernando Rodriguez Santos, Counselor.

Members of the Embassy delegation discussed with the leadership of RFTA of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation the possibilities of cooperation in the field of education and culture, including issues of organizing joint events and interaction with universities.

Mr. Ambassador made a presentation in Spanish for the students and staff of the Academy on the topic: “The Economy of the Dominican Republic and cooperation with the Russian Federation.” As part of the presentation, students were able to ask questions of interest to Mr. Ambassador, as well as talk about the peculiarities of Russian culture in Spanish.

Mr. Ambassador especially noted the importance of such meetings for the development and strengthening of relations between the two countries and expressed his readiness to promote common projects.
