Russian Foreign Trade Academy is a co-founder of the Center for Strategic Development of the Republic of Armenia (CSR), which started its work in Yerevan. The decision to establish the CSR was made by the Ministers of Economics of Russia and Armenia on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in June 2022.
The founders of the CSR developed proposals on important areas of bilateral cooperation, which will make it possible to respond more effectively to the challenges that arise in the world.
"According to our plans, the activities of the Center for Strategic Development of Armenia will be carried out in two main areas: the first one is maximizing the benefits of Armenia and other EAEU member states from participation in the integration processes of the Union; the second one is ensuring high growth rate of the Armenian economy through institutional reforms, creating infrastructure and attracting investors, - said Sergey Sinelnikov-Murylev, the rector of the Russian Foreign Trade Academy in his speech at the opening of the CSR in Yerevan. - We hope that one of the most important areas of work of the CSR in the context of sanction restrictions imposed in 2022 on Russia and Belarus shall be refocusing of trade and financial flows"
According to the rector, the activities of the Center for Strategic Development can subsequently become a good example for other countries of the Union in terms of combining efforts and developing the best competencies to achieve faster economic growth rates.
