What should foreign trade specialists be like today?

The RFTA hosted a round table "Foreign Economic Activity Personnel for business and the state", dedicated to the search for new approaches to training specialists in the field of foreign economic activity.

Representatives of educational organizations, businesses and students of the project of the Foreign Economic Activity Department met at the Academy.

They discussed:

• Which foreign economic activity specialists are needed by business today;
• Why employers ' expectations and graduate training do not always match;
• What role internships and practice-oriented programs play;
• What competencies are required by specialists in the context of the transformation of global trade.

The experts noted that the dynamics of changes in the field of foreign economic activity requires new competencies from young specialists, and consequently, more technological approaches, close cooperation between universities and employers.
