On June 11, 2026, at the site of the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing, with the assistance of representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation in Beijing and the Russian Trade Representative Office in China, a meeting was organized for students of the Russian Foreign Trade Academy who participating in exchange programs at partner universities in Beijing.
During the meeting, the students learned about the structure and specifics of the work of the foreign office, learned how the work is organized to support Russian business in the Chinese market, and what role the diplomatic service plays in the development of international cooperation.
Of particular interest was the discussion of the specifics of negotiating with Chinese partners: cultural differences, business etiquette, the importance of trust and respect for traditions. The students received valuable recommendations for the development of negotiation skills and were once again able to verify the correctness of their chosen profession, because the Chinese language is not losing its relevance, and specialists with knowledge of two foreign languages and foreign economic activity are becoming more and more in demand in the labor market.
