On December 4, 2025, a delegation from Liaoning University of International Business and Economics conducted an official visit to theRussian Foreign Trade Academy.
The delegation was headed by Prof. LyuHongjun, Rector of Liaoning Universityof International Business and Economics. During the visit, a formal meeting was arranged with Tatiana Anisimova, Vice‑Rector for Academic Affairs, Irina Shkolyar, Director for International Cooperationand IlsiyaGibadullina, Head of the International Department.
The primary agenda of the meeting was to explore opportunities for establishing and enhancing bilateral cooperation. The discussions covered several key areas, including the organisation of student and faculty exchange programmes between the RFTA and LUIBE, the implementation of joint online projects aimed at fostering academic collaborationand the conduct of negotiation marathons, with active participation from both students and academic staff of the two institutions.
At the conclusion of the visit, the parties reaffirmed their mutual commitment to building a sustainable and fruitful partnership. They agreed to proceed with the development of detailed action plans for forthcoming joint initiatives in the academic sphere, with the aim of strengthening institutional ties and advancing shared educational objectives.
