The years I spent at the Academy are dear to me not only because the memory of them takes me back to my youth and student days, and not only because the Academy has enriched me with deep knowledge, but also because these years have brought me together with wonderful people for whom I will always be grateful. These were my teachers, my friends —
the "academicians" and leaders of the Academy, Sergei Ivanovich Dolgov and Gennady Mikhailovich Tuchkin, who supported me during a difficult time.
I also remember how attentive and friendly the Academy's teachers and staff were towards us, the students, and how persistent and patient they were in helping us, adults, to master economic, legal, and other disciplines, as well as foreign languages.
The Academy opened up a vast and complex world of global economics and international economic relations to us, and now that Russia is increasingly involved in this world, we are especially grateful to the Academy for all the knowledge we have gained within its walls.
