The All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade is, as they say now, a brand. A brand that is sonorous and strong.

I am one of those who graduated from the Faculty of Public Service. I graduated with honors, and I am proud of that. However, there were also some gray days in my student life at the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade.

The fact is that I had, to put it mildly, problems with English. But the interview went well, and I got into the strongest group.

At the first lesson, everything became clear to both me and the teacher, Alla Yurievna Pyankova. But I firmly said "no" to her polite offer to switch to a weaker group. I didn't know what would happen next! 

Alla Yurievna created a separate plan that left no time for anything other than English. We had four hours of English every day. Seven times a week. Three hundred and sixty-five days a year. Three years in a row.

A year later, I passed the exam with a "satisfactory" grade. A year after that, I passed with a "good" grade, but the state exam went unnoticed.
