2022

2021

By order of Rosobrnadzor dated 2021 The All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation has been recognized as having passed the state accreditation of educational activities for a period of 6 years.
VAVT has become an official partner of the National Demography Project, within the framework of which additional professional education programs are implemented free of charge for students, forming competencies in demand on the labor market

2016

Recruitment for the 1st year of higher education programs has been carried out. Bachelor's and master's degree programs according to educational standards independently developed and approved by the Higher School of Economics in the areas of 38.03.01, 38.04.01 "Economics", 38.03.02, 38.04.02 "Management", 40.03.01, 40.04.01 "Jurisprudence".
A new enrollment for the master's degree program in the direction of 38.04.02 "Marketing in management" by correspondence has begun.
The Academy became one of the founders of the Russian-French University.
The All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade turned 85 years old.
A new specialization "Modern Foreign Economic Activity Management Technologies" in the e-learning format (using distance learning technologies) has been opened at the Faculty of International Business within the framework of the Master of Business Administration program.
New professional development programs have been formed for employees of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation: "Harmonization of national legislation with international norms and rules in connection with WTO and OECD accession", "EAEU / Customs Union", "Project management in foreign economic activity", "New information resources in the field of foreign economic activity", "Budget accounting. New in Russian legislation in 2015", "Contract Law. Contract law and consideration of claims under contracts. Property rights", "Development of small and medium-sized businesses", "Economic and Social Policy of the Russian Federation". These programs are implemented in full-time and distance forms.
The advanced training program for teaching staff of the VAVT "Methods of teaching business English to teachers of higher education (Teaching Business English)" has begun.
In order to further strengthen the research potential of the Academy and in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation No. 979 dated December 25, 2015. "On the reorganization of the Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Education "All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation" in the form of joining the Federal State Budgetary Research Institution "Council for the Study of Productive Forces" and the Federal Budgetary Scientific Institution "Institute of Macroeconomic Research"
In April 2016, two structural divisions were established:

2015

By Rosobrnadzor Order No. 780 dated May 25, 2015, the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation was recognized as having passed state accreditation of educational activities for a period of 6 years.
By Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 398 dated 05.08.2015, the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation" was included in the list of federal state educational organizations of higher education that have the right to independently develop and approve educational standards for all levels of higher education.
The first bachelor's degree graduation took place.
The last graduation of specialists took place.
In 2015, the implementation of the full-time Master's degree program began. In the areas of Economics, the programs "Foreign Economic Activity" and "Finance in international business", in the field of Law, the profiles "International Economic Law" and "Legal regulation of international commercial activity".
The Faculty of Professional Programs (FPP) was renamed the Faculty of International Business (FMB).

Within the framework of the 080100.62 "Economics" educational program, a new profile "Trade Policy" has been implemented.

2012

The Academy has started implementing bachelor's degree programs in the field of 080100.62 "Economics" profile "World Economy" at the Faculty of International Economics, in the field of 080100.62 "Economics" profile "Finance and Credit" at the Faculty of International Finance, in the field of 030900 "Jurisprudence" profiles "International Economic Law", "Legal regulation of international commercial activity" at the Faculty of International Law.
In February 2012, the implementation of second higher education programs in the Master's degree format began in economics (080100.68): "International Economics", "Finance in International Trade" at the International Faculty of Commerce; in Law (030900.68): "Legal regulation of foreign economic transactions" at the Faculty of International Law; in Management (080200.68) the program "Management in foreign economic activity" at the Faculty of Professional Programs.
The Academy hosts the first international competition "WTO Model"
The Faculty of Professional Programs has developed advanced training programs "Training of responsible secretaries of the IPC", "Advanced training of employees of trade missions of the Russian Federation in foreign countries", "Key issues of foreign trade in military products", "Integration processes in the post-Soviet space - the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space", "OECD: relevance of Russia's accession; specifics and progress of the negotiation process", "Trade policy issues and issues related to Russia's accession and participation in the WTO.

2011

The Academy has switched to a 2-level system of education at all faculties - bachelor's and master's degrees.

Enrollment for the Unified State Exam preparation program in a foreign language has been opened for 10th grade students.

2010

The All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade took the 7th place in the ranking of all Russian universities published by Forbes magazine in September 2010.
The Faculty of Finance has been established, which provides training in the specialty "Finance and Credit"
The programs of the Faculty of Professional Programs of the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade (MBA) have received international accreditation from the European Council for Business Education (ECBE), Switzerland.
The sports and recreation complex at the Academy (SOC) has been put into operation.

2009

A new specialization of the MBA program of the Faculty of Professional Programs has been opened - the weekend program "Strategic Management".
A new additional educational program "Translator in the field of professional communication" has been opened for the specialties "Law", "World Economy", "Finance and Credit". The program gives students the opportunity to gain an additional competitive advantage in the labor market – a diploma in professional translation, which is a diploma of the third level of education.
A new professional development program "Theory and practice of negotiation (in English)" has been opened
There was a merger of the VAVT Business School and the Higher Commercial School (VKSH).

2008

A new specialty "Finance and Credit" (full-time department) has been opened at the Faculty of International Economics.
VAVT, together with RANH and GS, implements an agreement with the University of Grenoble-2. Under this agreement, students of the III-IV courses of the FIM and FEM enroll in a two-year distance learning course at the University of Grenoble in order to obtain a "license" diploma, which corresponds to a bachelor's degree.
A Center for Fundamental Scientific Research has been established on the basis of the Academy.
The journal "Russian Foreign Economic Bulletin", established by the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade in 1996, is accredited in the media and has had the impact factor of the Russian Research Center since 2008, ISSN 2072-8042.

2007

A master's degree program in Management with a specialization in Logistics in foreign Economic activity has been opened.
A student exchange program has been launched jointly with the University of Heilbronn (Germany).

2006

A new specialty "Finance and Credit" with evening education has been opened at the Faculty of International Economics.
A new specialization of the Master of Business Administration program "Economics, Trade Policy and WTO Law" has been opened.

2005

A new specialization of the Master of Business Administration program "Corporate Governance" has been opened.
The first graduation of bachelors and masters in the field of Management took place.
Within the framework of international cooperation with the University of Bremen, a new specialization of the MBA program in English has been opened – Master in Global Management.

2004

The Dissertation Council for the defense of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences in the specialties "Civil Law; business law; family law; private international law" and "International Law, European Law" begins to work.
The first graduation of students of the International Law Faculty on the basis of secondary education (full-time) took place.

2003

The Academy announces enrollment in the Master's degree in Management with specializations in Legal Support of Foreign Economic Activity and International Business

2002

In addition to the existing specialty "Economics and National Economy Management", new specialties are being opened at the Postgraduate school of the Academy: "World Economy", "Civil Law; Business Law; family law; private international law", "International Law, European Law".
The Academy begins to carry out professional retraining and advanced training of specialists of organizations and enterprises of the defense complex of the Russian Federation under the program "Management in the field of military cooperation of the Russian Federation with foreign states".
The Academy is certified by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

2001

The Faculty of Foreign Trade Management has been established, on the basis of which bachelor's degree training in full-time management has begun.
The first graduation of the Faculty of International Economics took place.
The Department of Theory and History of State and Law was established.

2000

The Faculty of International Law has been established, where students begin to study on the basis of higher education (evening department) in the specialty "Jurisprudence".
The Federal program "Training of managerial personnel for organizations of the National Economy of the Russian Federation" ("Presidential Program) in the areas of "Foreign Trade Management" and "International Marketing" has been opened on the basis of the Faculty of Retraining.
Admission to the evening department of the Faculty of International Economics is open.

1999

Full-time secondary education (full-time) begins at the Faculty of International Law.

1998

The Faculty of International Law has been established, where students begin to study on the basis of higher education (evening department) in the specialty "Jurisprudence".
The Federal program "Training of managerial personnel for organizations of the National Economy of the Russian Federation" ("Presidential Program) in the areas of "Foreign Trade Management" and "International Marketing" has been opened on the basis of the Faculty of Retraining.
Admission to the evening department of the Faculty of International Economics is open.

1996

The Academy begins training in the specialty "World Economy" on the basis of full-time secondary education.
"Preparatory courses" have been opened for admission to the University.
The first recruitment of international economists to the Faculty has been carried out.
The Faculty of Professional Retraining and Advanced Training of specialists with higher education has been established to work in the field of foreign economic activity. A retraining program "International Entrepreneur" has been opened on its basis.
Bachelor's degree programs in Management and Economics have been started.

1994

The Academy is switching to studying in the specialty "World Economy".
In accordance with the adoption of the "Regulations on the Federal Civil Service", the Academy begins training civil servants involved in the management of foreign economic activity and the development of international economic, scientific and technical cooperation at the federal and regional levels.
The Faculty of Public and International Service is being established on the basis of the Faculty of International Economists.
The Far Eastern branch of VAVT has been opened in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

1993

English Language Courses were opened, which were later transformed into the Foreign Languages Center of the Russian Academy of Foreign Trade.

1992

An International Commerce Faculty is being established within the Faculty of Foreign Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Economists, offering full-time, evening, and part-time courses.
The Academy has been renamed the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade.

1990

By the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation, full-time and part-time education is being introduced at the VAVT.

1988

The Academy has opened a postgraduate program in the specialty "Economics, planning and organization of national economic management" and established a Council for the Defense of Candidate's Dissertations.

1981

In connection with its 50th anniversary, the Academy was awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples for its services in training highly qualified personnel for work in the field of trade, economic, scientific, and technical relations between the Soviet Union and foreign countries.
The Academy was awarded the international Golden Mercury award.

1973

The Academy established the Faculty of Foreign Economic Relations, which trains personnel to participate in the USSR's economic and technical assistance programs for foreign countries.

1969

The Faculty of Advanced Training began to operate at the Academy, which in the 1980s was transformed into the Institute for Advanced Training at the Russian Academy of Foreign Trade.

1964

At the Academy, along with the Faculty of Foreign Trade Economists, a Faculty of International Economists is being created with the aim of training personnel for work in international organizations of the UN system.

1963

The Academy is launching an evening training program.

1939

By the Decree of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR, the Academy was granted the status of a higher educational institution for training individuals with higher education in the specialty "International Economic Relations".

1931

By decision of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR, the All-Union Academy of Foreign Trade (VAVT) was opened to train executives and specialists in the field of foreign trade.
