On November 23, 2017, an open seminar in English on Mutual Acceptance  of Data of Laboratory Testing of Chemical Substances (MAD OECD)  was held in the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. The seminar was organized by the experts of the Russia-OECD Club of the RFTA, in cooperation with the Russian Center for Competencies and Analysis of OECD Standards with RANEPA under the President of the Russian Federation.

The seminar was attended by the experts from the RFTA and RANEPA, representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare, the Federal Service for Accreditation, Economic Commission for Europe, Russian laboratories implementing the principles of GLP. The event was attended by the 3rd -4th year students of the Academy, who actively participated in the expert discussion. The special guest of the event and the main speaker was Richard Sigman, an OECD expert who heads the OECD Pesticide Program and the OECD Good Laboratory Program.
