On November 22, 2017 3 groups of International Law Department (3rd year) participated in Round Table in French on "Crisis in French agriculture in the modern period"

The discussion covered many different areas such as: a) The history of the development of agriculture in France b) the reasons for sharp decrease in number of farmers c) falling prices for agricultural products, emerge of GM – and BIO- products ; d) implementation of Common Agricultural Policy and many other topics. The students were well prepared for the discussion. We would like to make a pointed reference to the following students: Alexander Dergachev, the active organizer and host; ceremony masters Vera Ilyina and Alice Gurevich. Among active participants were Valeria Khromova, Anna Belevtseva, Anastasia Goncharova, Anastasia Boyko, Anna Avakyan, Ulyana Sidorovnina, Julia Plyasunova, Evgenia Ryabova. Despite the difference in language proficiency, the expediency of holding round tables is obvious. The students not only made interesting presentations on the topics, representing various ministries of France, but also asked each other questions, made additions and clarifications. All the teachers liked the event. We are planning to continue conducting thematic "round tables".
