Ranking of institutions for higher education specializing in "Economics" 2014

According to the composite ranking, 2014 prospective students ranked RFTA 7^th among the institutions of higher education specializing in Economics. The survey involved more than 5,200 applicants interested in Economics as their major.

1. National Research University “Higher School of Economics” (30,78%)
2. Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov (16,01%)
3. The Russian Presidential Academy of NE and PA (13%)
4. Financial University under the Government of the RF (9,38%)
5. Saint Petersburg State University (8.89%)
6. Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (6,2%)
7. RFTA (1,7%)
8. New Economic School (1,6%)
Other (12,45%)

Also, “The Typical Applicant” conducted a survey among the website editors on the most popular faculties and departments of the universities offering courses of studies in Economics. RFTA International Finance Department was ranked tenth. Three main criteria were taken into account: high level of training in higher mathematics, references of students majoring in "Economics" and applicants’ interest in the Department, its program and in the concentration offered.
