In February-April 2023, Russian Foreign Trade Academy together with Universidad Latina de America (UNLA, Mexico), held a series of online meetings as part of the development of Russian-Mexican cooperation.

The events were attended by second-year undergraduate students of RFTA’s Faculty of International Economics studying English as a second language and students of the Mexican University. The project was led by the Leading Lecturer, Associate Professor of the English Language Department Bogomolova A.L. and Coordinator of International Cooperation of FIE Goncharova M.A. On the part of the Mexican University, the project was headed by the Director of International Education and Academic Mobility, UNLA, Diego Prado Perez and Director of Languages, UNLA, Carolina Gonzalez Gomez.

During the event, the students of the Russian and Mexican universities discussed cultural diversity and similarity between the two countries, developing and practicing their knowledge of the English language and strengthening ties between our countries.

At the end of the event, students were given certificates confirming their participation in the program.
