On April 26, 2017 the Academy hosted an Interuniversity Scientific conference of students and post-graduate students on the topic: "Actual problems of management and marketing in foreign economic activity." In total, the conference was attended by more than 150 participants, including undergraduate and graduate students of the Academy, as well as post-graduate students from various universities, including the RFTA, Lomonosov Moscow State University, The Heilbronn University (Germany), Higher School of Corporate Management with RANEPA, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Moscow Technological University (MIREA), Institute of International Economic Relations, Russian State University for the Humanities, Moscow State University of Railway Engineering (MIIT).


On April 26, 2017 the Academy hosted an Interuniversity Scientific conference of students and post-graduate students on the topic: "Actual problems of management and marketing in foreign economic activity." The conference was organized by the Department of Foreign Trade Management of the Russian Foreign Trade Academy of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
Irina Y. Karhova, the dean of the Foreign Trade Management Department, addressed the participants of the conference with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the need for organizing scientific discussions on current problems and development trends in foreign economic activity. Within the framework of the plenary session, the participants delivered presentations on current problems, as well as on development trends in the field of management, marketing and logistics in foreign economy. During the plenary session, Viktor Korolev, the head of Management & Marketing Academic Department of the RFTA gave a comprehensive analysis of the current problems of management of Russian companies working in foreign economic activity
An integral part of foreign trade activities are trade representations, which allow to expand access for Russian exporters to foreign markets. In this regard, Valentin Myagkov , the professor of the Academic Department of International and Foreign Trade of the RFTA presented the main directions of improving the activities of trade missions of the Russian Federation.
The speech of Andrey A. Krushinsky, General Director of Galileo Nanotech, was devoted to the organization of business processes of the Russian company as a factor ensuring successful activity in the foreign market. Particular attention was given to the issues of logistics in foreign economic activity. In particular, Sergey Egorshev, the Deputy Director of the Department of Development Programs of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation analyzed the key aspects of the transport development strategy of the Russian Federation.
Julia V. Zvorykina, the director of "Northern Delivery" project office of the Council for the Study of Production Forces of the RFTA acquainted the participants of the conference with a large-scale project aimed at the organization of international transport and logistics projects in the Arctic. One of the key areas of the conference was devoted to international marketing issues, the main development trends of which were presented by Marina Zintsova, associate professor of Management & Marketing Academic Department of the RFTA. Dmitry Melnichuk, Commercial Director of DV Energy, shared his practical experience in organizing marketing activities of the company with foreign partners.
In total, the conference was attended by more than 150 participants, including undergraduate and graduate students of the Academy, as well as post-graduate students from various universities, including: 1. the RFTA of the Ministry of Economic Development of the RF; 2. Lomonosov Moscow State University; 3. The Heilbronn University (Germany); 4. Higher School of Corporate Management with RANEPA; 5. Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation; 7. Moscow Technological University (MIREA); 8. Institute of International Economic Relations; 9. Russian State University for the Humanities, 10. Moscow State University of Railway Engineering (MIIT).
More than 60 presentations were delivered by students and postgraduates from various universities at the sessions of three sections in the areas as follows: • "Problems and Trends in the Development of Management in Foreign Economic Activity". • "Modern problems of marketing in the system of international economic relations". • "Logistical aspects of foreign economic activity".
As a result of the conference, the scientific presentations approved by the Editorial Committee will be published in a Collection of Articles registered with the RSCI. In conclusion, it should be noted that all the participants of the conference stressed the necessity and importance of regular organizing of student scientific grounds, with the aim of enhancing business interaction between various Russian and foreign universities.
