Russia and Uzbekistan signed a memorandum on Training of specialists in Foreign Trade. The Russian Foreign Trade Academy shall train the staff of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Russian Foreign Trade Academy of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation. The document was signed in Urgench following the talks between Dmitry Medvedev and Abdulla Aripov, the Prime Ministers of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan at the first meeting of the joint commission at the highest level.
