Admission and training of specialists is effected on the basis of complete secondary education.
The general professional division of the curriculum contains a set of legal disciplines providing comprehensive knowledge of legal regulations that ensure law and order in all spheres of life of the society under market conditions.
The specialized division of the curriculum comprises law and economic subjects for the purpose of training a lawyer capable of dealing in the sphere of legal support of entrepreneurship connected with international economic relations in general, as well as with specific fields of international economic relations.
The following subjects are offered to the students:
- legal regulation of export-import transactions,
- international business law,
- WTO law,
- international organizations law,
- the European Union institutions and legislation,
- civil and trade law in foreign countries,
- antidumping,
- international trade arbitrage, etc.
Profound study of a foreign language is stipulated in the training program. English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian languages are taught at five chairs of foreign languages at the Academy.
Many of the students study a second and a third foreign language optionally, taking a state exam at the end of the course. The graduates of the department are trained for employment in companies of different forms of business organization in the positions requiring legal education in the field of international business.

SECOND HIGHER PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION

The department admits and trains specialists with a state diploma of higher education.
Students receive fundamental knowledge in the key disciplines which are the basis for classical legal education, and specialized legal training in the field of foreign economic activity.
The curriculum includes the following legal and economic disciplines:
International law;
International economic law;
World economy;
Civil and trade law in foreign countries;
Institutions and legislation in the EU;
International transactions (legal regulation of foreign economic activity);
International commercial arbitration;
International private law;
Legal methods of promoting goods on foreign markets;
Foreign trade;
Unification of law of present international contracts etc.
Over 40% of the academic time is allocated to studying a foreign language.
