The department admits and trains specialists that have higher professional education.
The disciplines taught at the department cover a wide range of issues that are essential for successful economic activity (the fundamentals of modern market economy, marketing, technology of foreign economic operations).
The faculty also offers training in the economy of an enterprise (business planning), accounting, audit, financial and management analysis, taxes and taxation, organization and financing of investments, world economy, foreign trade, international accounts and credit relations, economy and organization of transportation in foreign trade, organization and technology of foreign economic operations, international economic law, legal regulation of foreign economic activity, major issues of civil and trade law of foreign countries, etc.
Over 40% of the academic time is allocated to studying a foreign language.
