The history of the Academy is the history of thousands of its graduates and hundreds of tutors and employees. Thousands of high-class specialists in the field of foreign trade have graduated from the Academy during the 75 years of its existence. We are proud of the fact that our graduates work in Embassies and Trade representations of Russia, in international organizations, big Russian and foreign companies, commercial banks, hold high posts in the Government…
I remember warmly the years of studying, spent at the Academy. I not only received a second higher education but also formed life value during a most difficult period for our society – the period of the first steps of market reforms. I am sure that what I have achieved in business now wouldn’t have been possible without the Academy.

To my mind, the uniqueness of the Academy is mainly due to its approach to tuition – long traditions and experience of work with the already certified specialists have been transferred to teaching the young generation.
For the Academy knowledge is not the result of mass production but of a piece-work job. Thanks to the knowledge received at the Academy I have been entrusted with the task of conducting multilateral trade negotiations on behalf of Russia in the Ministry for Economic Development of Russia, where I am working now. In many ways I am obliged to the Academy for all this.

The Academy of Foreign Trade for me, as well as for very many of the graduates of the same year, means much more than an educational establishment where we spent five wonderful years studying.
